Yarn Story: Floor Closet
This old wine rack makes a perfect storage shelf for yarn! Yarn ball, skein, and cake all fit in each section so neatly, it looks like a wine rack made for crocheters. It is the perfect height to reach down from my chair and grab any odds or ends. It also looks great beside my basket of other bits and pieces that I can't bear to throw away.
I like these photo, because I have the little decorative lights on, and it makes every thing sparkle even more than it already does. Who says you can't turn on pretty little lights on a sunny day?!
The spaces in the wine rack allow for some scrunching and packing, which is perfect. I have a lot of half-used skeins, partially unraveled cakes, and various other odds and ends that I will keep in storage for a decade rather than throw them out or give them away.
Side view shows how everything lines up and packs in there. As you can see, this holds way more than just a dozen simple skeins. This holds all my dream projects, future projects, and bucket list projects. For now.
